CYCLING ACTION IN RPM

Tracking knee alignment is a key issue in RPM. Having said that seat positions can have a dramatic effect in caring for your knees while doing a RPM Class.

Here are a few visual cues that you can use:

1. Align the bike hit to hip postion. This would allow proper knee alignment and allow you to peddle the full circle (360 degrees.)

2. Recruit proper technique and knee alignment.

3. Check your clock alignment (get your instructor to check this.)

4. Make sure that the seet is not low. This will cause eventual knee pain.

5. Make sure that you follow the cuing and direction of the Instructor Teaching the class.

6. If unsure arrive 15 minutes before class and run through bike settings and alignment of the seat - bars etc...

Safe RPM :)
